Dickinson supervisors review five Peach Glen Road repair options, favoring full‑depth reclamation alternatives

Vice Chairman Robert Line suggested asking the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation whether it would take back Peach Glen Road; he also proposed imposing temporary restrictions on the road until repairs are completed and discussed the possibility of bonding the work. Board members said they were concerned about the cost and the impact on the General and Reserve Funds if a large capital project proceeded.
No formal motion selecting a specific repair option was made at the meeting. Chairwoman Lorelei Coplen instructed staff to continue evaluating the options and to return with cost estimates and funding scenarios that weigh Liquid Fuels, general fund impacts and potential bonding.
The board’s expressed preference for options using FDR will guide further study and budgeting but does not constitute a binding decision; supervisors said they want additional financial detail and external input, including the feasibility of PennDOT assuming maintenance, before any commitment.
