CCRPC adopts procurement policy edits to align with DEC guidance

Dan Albrecht told the committee that CCRPC serves as a Clean Water Service Provider (CWSP) for Northern Lake Champlain Basin and as backup CWSP for several other basins. He presented edits to the Procurement Policy that align CCRPC language with Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) rules and the DEC’s recent suggestions. The DEC reviewed the draft and approved the specific language that staff added.
Jacki Murphy moved to adopt the updated procurement language in the CCRPC Administrative and Operating Policies and Procedures (Procurement Policy); Elaine Haney seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
Albrecht said the edits maintain consistency with DEC requirements and noted the changes were recommended to ensure compliance in CWSP-related procurements. The committee directed staff to present the adopted language to the full Board in September.
