At its Feb. 2 meeting the Harmony Economic Development Authority completed routine business and approved several motions.
The board approved the Jan. 5, 2023 meeting minutes on a motion by Greg Schieber and second by Michael Himlie; the motion carried unanimously. The EDA then reviewed the loan portfolio and approved the financial report on a motion by Schieber and second by Steve Donney; all loans were reported current and there were no payment claims.
For marketing the new-home rebate program, the board reviewed draft artwork and a quote from Kelly Printing and Signs for $600 for 50 full-color double-sided signs with posts. Michael Himlie moved and Andy Batstone seconded approval to purchase signage as quoted; the motion carried unanimously.
The minutes also record that Chris Giesen and Chair Kerry Kingsley issued a press release the prior week about the new-home rebate updates and that local TV stations and the Rochester Post Bulletin picked up the story.
No other formal financial claims or payments were reported at the meeting.
