The Titonka City Council voted June 12 to adopt a resolution approving a transfer of funds and a second resolution setting salaries for appointed officers and employees for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Both resolutions passed by roll call with four ayes and one member absent.
Mayor David LaGue called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and councilmembers Mike Etherington, Mike Fredrickson, Irvin Harms and Katie Prothman voted in favor of the transfer (Resolution No. 24-25-33) and the salary schedule (Resolution No. 24-25-34). Sara Hamilton was recorded as absent for the votes.
The council took no action on an ICAP insurance quote during the session. The clerk later presented the monthly receipts and expenses: total receipts reported were $115,129.67 and total expenses were $262,491.97 across funds including General, Water, Sewer and Gas.
The transfer-approval resolution and the salary-resolution were adopted by roll call vote as official city action on June 12, 2025. The council signed the minutes at the close of the meeting; the session adjourned at 9:02 p.m.
