Concerns about notice and fairness to appellants prompted Staples to rescind the motion and to volunteer to speak with ARB Chairman Robert Patterson before the board takes further action.
The board did not vote on dissolution; Staples said he will report his findings at the next Selectmen meeting. The change would shift administrative responsibility for any pending appeals to Knox County if the Selectmen proceed with dissolution, but no formal referral or transfer was made at this meeting.
