Vice Chairman Robert Line III said he had heard that Republic was the only bidder for North Middleton's contract; supervisors described that as a concern. Supervisor Rob Kole and Coplen recommended informing residents that a price increase is possible before the Township issues future bids.
No contract award or formal vote to extend Dickinson's contract was recorded at the meeting. The board agreed to consider a one-year extension to the existing contract and to return with further information.
