Titonka council approves propane-system equipment, safety barriers and sewer maintenance

The council also approved televising and cleaning the sanitary main on Tryon Street and 2nd Ave NE and storm sewer jetting at the north end of Dieckman Street by the parking lot at a combined price not to exceed $5,000.
Officials discussed current gas prices and contracting options (current contract price ~ $1.026/gallon; cash price ~$0.87/gallon). Superintendent Posey said he would consult the Gas Utility Committee about locking a contract for winter 2025-26.
