The Titonka City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget and certified city taxes on April 10, 2025, passing RESOLUTION NO. 24-25-30 on a 4-0 roll call vote with Councilmember Katie Prothman absent.
Mayor David LaGue closed the related public hearing at 7:55 P.M. before Councilmember Mike Etherington moved adoption and Councilmember Mike Fredrickson seconded. The roll-call recorded Etherington, Fredrickson, Sara Hamilton and Irvin Harms voting in favor and no votes against.
The action sets the city’s official spending plan and the certified tax levy for the coming fiscal year. Council members also set a budget amendment hearing for Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. to consider any needed adjustments before the fiscal year begins.
City Clerk Karen Hamilton attested the minutes and financial receipts and expenses for the meeting were included in the record. The council did not provide further line-item detail in the meeting transcript; staff or the clerk would be the contact for the full budget document and line-item questions.
