Chairman PJ Jacobson called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m., and the board voted unanimously to approve the claims after Commissioner Joe Richeson moved and Commissioner Rod Reynolds seconded the motion.
The meeting record breaks the total into multiple fund groupings. General vendor claims totaled $1,845,032.54 and include sizable line items such as Applied Connective Technologies ($93,284.22), a NIRMA renewal ($391,540.00) and Paulsen, Inc. concrete work listed at $969,809.67. Roads vendor claims totaled $1,237,370.09 and include Hall Brothers treatment at $225,561.60 and Country Partners Cooperative fuel at $32,174.97. Other fund totals shown on the record include visitor-promotion and visitor-development vendor claims, E-911 charges, and inventory maintenance expenses.
The board also voted to file Officials’ receipts as submitted (County Clerk $446.01; Register of Deeds $28,778.78; Clerk of District Court $12,256.51; Surveyor $6,535.00). County Treasurer receipts were approved as presented at $1,120,606.08.
County Clerk Michaela Arndt certified the claims and minutes in the meeting record. The board’s approvals were routine and carried unanimously.
