Council members asked about delivery timing and were told the new truck is expected to be picked up next week. One member observed the procurement process had taken several years and noted COVID-related delays.
The council voted to publish the notice and advance the appropriation to second reading. Staff will finalize ordinance numbering and schedule the second-reading vote on May 7.
