During new business at the Dec. 2 regular meeting, the board considered a petition Tom Blank had received for "Chicago Club Road," which the clerk said is not a recorded road name. The township confirmed the correct name is Chicago Club Lane NE; the board approved ordering a replacement sign and asked the clerk and Linda to contact affected property owners so a corrected petition can be refiled covering addresses 13150–13274.
The board reviewed road policy examples from neighboring townships as a starting point for Miltona’s own road policy updates and accepted a 2025 meeting calendar that proposes moving regular meetings to the second Monday of each month starting in January; the February meeting was proposed for Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025 at 7 p.m. because of a scheduling conflict.
Chair remarks included formal thanks to Gary "Andy" Anderson for his service filling in and serving as a committed township supervisor; the board also heard a floor comment from resident Dale Wilke about ponding near a new culvert and possible tile at a nearby intersection. The board set its next regular meeting for Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Miltona Community Center and adjourned at about 7:28 p.m.
