Milaca school board approves personnel actions, $2.2 million in transfers and 2025–27 food service contract

The consent agenda motion also carried 6–0 and included approval of minutes, December checks and wires, and a revision to the dates for the 10th-grade overnight trip to Washington, D.C. (from April 9–12, 2026 to April 7–10, 2026).
The board approved several hires and personnel actions included in the consent agenda: two paraprofessional hires, multiple staff leave requests, acceptance of several resignations and terminations among custodial and food-service staff, and numerous lane changes that adjusted salaries and hourly rates for named staff. The board adopted a resolution under Minnesota Statute 465.03 to accept two donations: $3,600 from Tee Off for Terry designated to the high school building and $2,000 from the American Legion designated for the marching band.
