On a unanimous vote, the council approved Ordinance No. 532, a second-reading amendment to Chapter 115 (Peddlers, Solicitors and Transient Merchants) to add rules governing mobile food units. The council also approved Ordinance No. 533, updating Chapter 34 (the fee schedule), and Ordinance No. 534, an amendment to Chapter 33.20 regarding criminal-history license background investigations; the council waived a second reading before approving Ordinance 534.
Councilors moved and seconded each action on the record; Mayor Dave Dillan called the votes, and councilors indicated “all in favor” for each item. The council then adopted Resolutions 24-33, 24-34 and 24-35 to formally summarize Ordinances 532, 533 and 534.
