Moose Lake adopts interim moratorium on cannabis businesses; council approves several administrative measures

Administrator Owens told the council the moratorium would not affect hemp‑derived THC drinks and edibles that are already lawful as hemp products.

Mayor Sha confirmed the local moratorium is time‑limited by statute and is intended only as an interim step while staff completes required work.
