Chanceford Planning Commission approves June minutes, sets August items; no public comment

The Chanceford Township Planning Commission opened its July 15, 2025 meeting, confirmed a quorum and approved the minutes from June 17, 2025 on a motion by Ralph Daugherty, seconded by Bruce Miller.

Chairman John Shanbarger distributed an example draft of a text amendment regarding outdoor storage for members to review ahead of the August meeting; Vice Chairman Bruce Miller urged that any amendment include enforcement considerations. The commission also noted that Mt. Zion Baptist Church will attend the August meeting to discuss a special exception and two variances for property at 51 Muddy Creek Forks Road; the associated Zoning Hearing is scheduled for August 21, 2025.
With no further business, the commission adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
