Staff member (S7) told the board the date would include four fire-protection district public hearings, one public hearing on changes to the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) law and a separate hearing on proposed increases to film-permitting fees. "Since we have a lot of interest in the ADU hearing, we're going to make that first," S6 said while other staff and members emphasized that film-fee increases could take substantial time.
Board members discussed logistics to avoid an overly long night and encouraged residents who could not attend to submit written comments to the town clerk. One committee member (S5) suggested notification and pre-hearing outreach for large developers or property owners to address feasibility concerns ahead of public comment.
Separately, staff (S2) described TB2, a short-term lease at 200 Tarrytown Road (the former nursery known as Riley Pond) that would allow police parking for roughly one year; either party may terminate the arrangement with one month's notice.
