The Community Club said the beer stand will remain at Gilson Field, Norman Street will be closed for the dance, and the gravel road closure area will be adjusted from last year. The pork chop feed will not be held this year; the club plans to sell T-shirts, replace flags on light poles and seeks a non-profit to host a fundraiser on Friday night.
Mayor Shad Lipinski also reminded the council about the 125th-anniversary year and said the council will hold planning sessions to prepare budgets and prioritize city needs related to the celebration.
