Procedural notes and public comment
Commissioner Joshua L. Kuhnert announced a Boil Water Order after a boring company drilled through a water line affecting customers from Fairground Road to Cottontail Road and areas south of the viaduct on State Route 127. Rita Schwebel asked for a status update on a property at 101 East Hawkins Street; City Attorney Don Bigham described a two-step condemnation process and said the complaint notice is being served and the case should be in court within about a month, with an unsafe order and potential demolition steps taking roughly 90 days if the owner does not respond.
