The Cherry Hill Board of Education on June 23 ratified a memorandum of agreement with the Cherry Hill Associated Supervisory Personnel (CHASP) covering the contract term July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030.
The late agenda item (14.12) was read into the record and described as "the board hereby ratifies the memorandum of agreement with the Cherry Hill Associated Supervisory personnel dated as of June 23rd, 2026 for the contract period July 1st, 2026 through June 30, 2030" and that the board would authorize its president and secretary to execute an appropriate successor collective negotiations agreement upon finalization. The item was added to the agenda and voted on; the roll call showed recorded affirmative votes and the motion carried.
Board members noted the vote process: the administration grouped HR items for electronic vote and then took a separate recorded vote on the orally read 14.12. Ms. Palmer seconded the superintendent’s recommendation and members voted to ratify the agreement.
Next steps: the board president and board secretary will execute the finalized agreement once administrative staff have completed the formal documentation; the agreement is on file in the Director of Human Resources office.
