Harmony EDA approves prior minutes, financial report and 2023 Chamber membership and ad

At its Nov. 3 meeting the Harmony EDA unanimously approved Oct. minutes and the financial report and authorized renewal of the Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce membership ($100) and a full-sized visitor-guide ad ($390) that will reference a proposed 2023 home rebate program.
Kerry Kingsley, chair of the Harmony EDA, opened the Nov. 3 meeting and the board unanimously approved routine business including two sets of prior minutes and the financial report.
Motion by Steve Donney to approve the Oct. 4 and Oct. 6, 2022 minutes, seconded by Greg Schieber, carried unanimously. The board next reviewed the loan portfolio and found all loans current; a motion by Steve Donney, seconded by Kerry Kingsley, approved the financial report as presented.
The board also reviewed and approved the Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce membership renewal and a full-sized visitor-guide ad for 2023. The membership dues are $100 and the ad cost is $390. Donney suggested the ad should reflect the proposed updated home rebate program slated to start in 2023; the board agreed. Motion by Greg Schieber, seconded by Steve Sagen to approve the membership renewal and update the visitor-guide ad carried unanimously.
The actions recorded at the meeting were procedural approvals; no additional conditions or amendments were attached to the votes. The EDA’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 1, 2022 at 7:30 AM at the Community Center.
