Administration reported that the district will continue to monitor outcomes and gather staff feedback over the coming months, and that training and reminders will be part of the rollout. The board noted state legislative discussions about phone limits in schools and said it will remain attentive to any statutory changes.
The policy passed following a motion and second. Trustees asked the administration to return periodic reports on referrals and implementation challenges.
