The East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors on May 26 approved routine administrative items including the April 28, 2026 meeting minutes and a bills list totaling $281,360.18.
On motions by Supervisors Jim Nietupski and Gary Volovnik the board accepted reports from the Pennridge Regional Police Department, the Planning Commission, the Pennridge Wastewater Treatment Authority and the Pennridge Area Coordinating Committee. The board approved the Public Works report, which noted that the Treatment Plant south aeration tank will be drained to determine necessary repairs.
The board adopted Resolution 2026-09 amending the employee manual to provide compensation to employees who elect to decline medical and prescription insurance coverage; the resolution was adopted on a motion by Gary Volovnik, seconded by Jim Nietupski. The board authorized use of fire police personnel for traffic control for triathlon bicycle events on May 17 and August 2, 2026 in Haycock Township.
Park & Recreation recommended removal of a skate-park facility located in a wet area and proposed reallocating the 2026 skate-park budget to a potential Three Mile Run Road walking-trail extension. Township Engineer Steve Baluh was directed to provide a feasibility study for a not-to-exceed amount of $3,000. The board granted preliminary and final approval for the Del Ron / Muse lot-line adjustment at 623 Blooming Glen Road contingent on compliance with Wynn Associates' May 7, 2026 correspondence.
The board concluded its business and adjourned at 8:33 PM.
