The board found the project would not alter the essential character of the neighborhood, would not substantially impair adjacent property use and would not be detrimental to the public welfare. The applicants were told they will receive a written decision from the board.
The hearing record includes testimony and exhibits supporting the application; the board made no additional changes to the conditions Barley read aloud. No member of the township staff took an opposing position before the vote.
The decision resolves Case No. 26-03 for the property at 3124 Raintree Drive. The board has said the written ruling will include the full explanation of findings and any conditions attached to the variance.
