Maple Lake adopts 2026 fee schedule, defers planning and zoning fee changes

Interim City Administrator Cathy Reynolds presented the proposed 2026 fee schedule and explained that planning and zoning fee changes would require a separate public hearing. The council voted to adopt Ordinance 2025-01 adopting the 2026 fee schedule with the planning and zoning fees excluded from final adoption at this meeting.
Councilor Lori Hausken moved to adopt the fee schedule with the exception of planning and zoning changes; Councilor Kris Logas seconded and the motion passed 4-0. Council directed staff to schedule a public hearing to consider the planning and zoning fee changes.
