Milaca council approves $331,804.78 in pay requests for street and airport projects

Mayor Dave Dillan presided over the meeting. Norris Johnson moved and Ken Muller seconded approval of Pay Request #2 to Northern Lines Contracting for $200,703.37 for the 110th Avenue Improvements Project; the motion passed on a unanimous vote. Johnson moved and Laurie Gahm seconded approval of Pay Request #1 to OMG Midwest, doing business as Minnesota Paving & Materials, for $72,316.60 for the 2024 Street Improvements Project; that motion also passed unanimously.
The council later approved Pay Request #2 to OMG–MN Paving & Material for $58,784.81 for the airport entrance road and parking lot paving. Ken Muller moved the airport pay request; Norris Johnson seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
The votes were recorded as unanimous “all in favor” on the public minutes; no dissenting votes or abstentions were noted. The minutes do not record additional conditions attached to the payments.
The approvals cover work on three local infrastructure projects and authorize disbursement to the named contractors; the meeting did not include detailed project-status presentations beyond the pay-request motions. The council adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
