The Crothersville Redevelopment Commission unanimously approved Resolution 2025-1 and authorized tax-increment financing (TIF) allocation letters at a meeting on June 11, 2025, and designated President Jamy Greathouse as the signatory.
President Jamy Greathouse opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. and recorded attendance: Jamy Greathouse, Commissioner Dale Schmelzle, Commissioner Jason Hillenburg and Commissioner David Lee were present; Commissioner TJ Mills was unable to attend. The commission first adopted the meeting agenda on a 4-0 vote after a motion from Commissioner Jason Hillenburg and a second from Commissioner David Lee.
Commissioner Dale Schmelzle moved to approve the Feb. 24, 2025 meeting minutes; Commissioner Jason Hillenburg seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
President Greathouse read Resolution 2025-1 aloud. After a brief discussion Commissioner David Lee moved to approve Resolution 2025-1; Commissioner Dale Schmelzle seconded and the motion carried 4-0, formally adopting the resolution.
The commission then reviewed the TIF Allocation Letter. Commissioner Jason Hillenburg moved to approve the letters and to make President Greathouse the signatory; Commissioner David Lee seconded and the motion carried 4-0, authorizing execution of the letters as presented.
The commission discussed scheduling for the next quarter's meeting, the process for finding a replacement for Ardell Mitchell and potential expenditure plans, but took no formal action on those items during the session.
Commissioner Dale Schmelzle moved to adjourn; Commissioner David Lee seconded. The motion carried 4-0 and the commission adjourned. No additional votes or assignments were recorded.
