River Ridge approves irrigation repairs and accepts unaudited financial statements

During staff reports the board heard updates from the district engineer and manager and approved an irrigation change order and accepted the unaudited financial statements.
District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented the revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and noted ancillary costs from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and about $1,300 each to raise roughly seven to eight irrigation heads. On motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Supervisor Bob Schultz, the board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order in a not‑to‑exceed amount of $15,000.
Mrs. Adams presented unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024 and the minutes note the Series 2022A Note will be closed and funds applied to prepay bond debt. Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal asked why an Oct. 1 annual insurance payment was not listed in the check register; Mrs. Adams said she would investigate and report back.
