The River Ridge board voted Nov. 19 to install a temporary "zombie box" for an aeration system in Lake E1‑C rather than immediately relocating the equipment. After discussion about budget impacts and an alternative to delay relocation, Supervisor Bob Schultz moved and Supervisor Robert Twombly seconded a motion to install a zombie box at the existing location at a cost of $3,098 and revisit the $10,755 relocation proposal as part of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget. The motion passed 3–2: Schultz, Twombly and Keith Merrill voted in favor; Terry Mountford and Kurt Blumenthal dissented.
The minutes record the board's decision to defer the larger electrical relocation work and to consider pole/power-routing alternatives during next year’s budget process. No additional conditions or amendments to the motion were recorded.
