Council members reviewed progress on the W blacktop project and asked about the payment and schedule. A council member said the overall contract total was $375,000 and that the meeting item covered roughly $195,000 in current billings; remaining items include a second lift on the alley behind Inspire and finishing the parking lot.
Council members noted change orders discussed at the previous council meeting and asked whether the contractor would return immediately when weather permits. One speaker said TR is expected to return this month if the council approves the outstanding change orders, and that concrete at the wellhouse has been poured and needs curing time before additional work can continue.
The council discussed sealing well #4 as the only remaining task that may be delayed. A speaker said they would meet with John grman on Thursday to clarify schedule details. Participants expressed hope that TR could resume work and that L six could begin production by mid-January, pending pumps, testing, and well completion.
The workshop ended after a motion to close was seconded and approved by voice vote.
