Connersville Redevelopment Commission approves minutes, claims and outlines financial‑report deadlines

The Connersville Redevelopment Commission unanimously approved the Dec. 19, 2025 minutes and moved to pay the claims presented at its Jan. 23 meeting.
Garrett Silcott moved to approve the minutes “as presented,” and Ron Snider seconded; members voted unanimously. Later, Ron Snider moved to approve payment of the claims and Garrett Silcott seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
The commission reviewed a claims report showing a fund balance of $749,072.70 and a vendor claim from Stone Municipal for $2,600.00. Adam Stone provided an update on annual reporting: the Annual Financial Report portal will open in February, the management report must be filed in Gateway by April 15, and staff expect a final draft no later than the March meeting. Stone said coordination will occur with the clerk‑treasurer’s office and the mayor’s office to ensure timely compliance.
The commission scheduled its next meeting for Friday, Feb. 27, 2026. The meeting adjourned with the minutes attested by Jim Spence, President, and Rosemary Brown, Clerk Treasurer.
