The Hope Select Board on Dec. 30 voted unanimously to revise the Sustainability and Resilience Plan components of the Resilient Communities Community Action Grant to focus the grant’s work on the local school rather than on townwide initiatives. Charles Weidman made the motion; Wayne Luce seconded it and the motion passed 4-0.
A November/December project progress report was read as written by Gabrian McPhail. Separately, the board voted to table proposals related to operation and maintenance of the town’s solar array; Charles Weidman moved to table the solar maintenance items, Sarah Ann Smith seconded, and the motion passed 4-0.
The board did not record specific changes to budget lines or contractor names in the minutes. The motions direct staff and grant administrators to refocus planning work toward the school and to revisit solar O&M proposals at a later meeting.
