At the Sept. 5 Darlington Town Council & Utility Board meeting, members adopted a series of routine motions and recorded unanimous 5-0 votes on each recorded item.
- Approval of minutes: Vice President Terese Sutherlin moved to approve the Aug. 1 and Aug. 13, 2024 minutes; Jennifer Flaugher seconded. Motion approved 5-0.
- Money matters: Vice President Terese Sutherlin moved and Marilyn Cohee seconded approval of the payroll docket, accounts receivable, and appropriation report for August 2024. Motion approved 5-0.
- Trick-or-Treat hours: President Nicole Parker moved and Marilyn Cohee seconded a motion to hold Trick-or-Treat on Oct. 31, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Motion approved 5-0.
- Tracking factor: Jeremy Weliever moved and Marilyn Cohee seconded approval of the tracking factor for October through December 2024. Motion approved 5-0.
- Adjournment: Jeremy Weliever moved to adjourn; Nicole Parker seconded. Motion approved 5-0 and the meeting was closed.
