Town manager: Rent.fun kayak rental contract delayed after solar-panel problem, start date moved to June 2026

The town will work with the company to “make this error right” and will change or update the contract start date to begin in June 2026, the board was told. The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce has offered to run promotional material at no charge, and the town plans to produce videos to help promote the service.
