The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on June 24 adopted Resolution 105‑26 finding that a petition submitted by a majority of affected property owners met statutory requirements under Ohio Rev. Code §555.03 and that the public convenience and welfare require a turn‑lane improvement at Deerfield Road and Parkfield Way.
Commissioners directed the County Engineer to prepare surveys, plans, profiles, cross‑sections, cost estimates and proposed assessments for the improvement. The board approved the motion by roll call and ordered the standard notice and assessment processes to follow the engineering report.
The action initiates the engineer’s design and cost‑assessment phase; any special assessments will be based on the engineer’s forthcoming estimates, as provided under state law.
