Webster City โ The Webster City Council voted unanimously on Jan. 19 to go into closed session to discuss strategy related to collective bargaining with the Fire Department Unit under Chapters 20.17 and 21.5 of the Iowa Code.
The motion to meet in closed session was made by Megan McFarland and seconded by Abbie Hansen; the roll call shows McFarland, Allers, Hansen, Hawkins and Marvel voting aye. The minutes record the council left open session at 6:58 p.m., recessed for eight minutes, entered closed session at 7:05 p.m., returned to open session at 7:22 p.m., and then adjourned.
