The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta–Chattahoochee County recorded several routine actions at its Aug. 6 meeting.
Commissioners moved unanimously to reappoint members to the Industrial Development Authority; the minutes and attached resolutions record approvals for Linda Beck and Walter Miller to fill terms ending June 30, 2029. Commissioners also approved a renewal and request for funding for the county 4‑H program and approved a DOT roundabout relocation grant. A motion to table proposed budget amendments carried unanimously.
On a conditional-use permit (Hoyte CUP 110 Stagecoach Rd), Commissioner Jason Frost moved to table the matter to Dec. 3, 2024, or until judgment is reached; Commissioner Hoyte abstained from that vote. The minutes record that the commission entered executive session later in the meeting to consider personnel and legal matters and reconvened without any votes taken while in closed session.
Motions recorded in the minutes show routine unanimous support for the listed appointments and grant items, with individual abstentions noted where recorded.
