Chanceford planners flag tax‑map discrepancy in Barley Farms subdivision review

Lee Faircloth was present to discuss the Barley Farms, LP (Good Road) Subdivision Plan. Commissioners reviewed comments from GHI and York County Planning that flagged a discrepancy: the current tax map shows an 800.76‑acre parcel that does not match previous subdivision records. Commissioners said additional research is needed to determine which record is correct.
The minutes dated Oct. 21, 2025, were reviewed and attendees noted no additions or changes. There were no public comments and the zoning officer reported no items for the record.
Marla Allen moved to adjourn the meeting; Bruce Miller seconded. The motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. The minutes were signed and submitted by Secretary Leah R. Geesey.
