Council approves minutes and consent agenda, reviews overtime report

The Caledonia City Council opened its Sept. 9 meeting at 6:00 p.m.; Mayor DeWayne “Tank” Schroeder led the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call recorded four members present and one absent.
Member Amanda Ninneman moved to approve the Aug. 26, 2024 minutes; Member Ryan Stenzel seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Member Robert “Bob” Klug moved to approve the consent agenda, Member Ninneman seconded, and the consent agenda passed 4-0. The consent agenda included routine payments and the Solution Builders 2025 Master Services Agreement.
There were no public comments. Public Works/Zoning Director Casey Klug provided a general public works update, including a recent safety visit from the League of Minnesota Cities. City Clerk/Administrator Jake Dickson updated the council on recent and upcoming economic development meetings and the upcoming cable franchise agreement renewal. The council reviewed an overtime report for the pay period Aug. 19 through Sept. 1 and took no action.
The council scheduled its next regular meeting for Monday, Sept. 23 at 6:00 p.m. With no further business, Member Klug moved to adjourn, Member Stenzel seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 7:41 p.m.
