Pastor Plosenski reports winter men's shelter housed seven; PAC accepts bylaws unchanged

Pastor Plosenski told the PAC that the winter men's shelter, run at the Bethany Beach Conference Center, peaked at seven men and closed on the 15th with most guests placed in work and housing.
"At its peak, we had seven men there," Pastor Plosenski said. He reported five of the seven had found employment (two full-time) and all had found housing within the area; two guests who failed program conditions were transitioned to housing in Seaford. The pastor also announced activities marking the church's 125th anniversary, including a Chautauqua event scheduled for June 21'4.
Later in the meeting the committee reviewed bylaws adopted last March and, with no suggested amendments, accepted them as written. There were no items raised during public comment.
The PAC confirmed its next quarterly meeting for Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and adjourned by voice vote.
