Millerville meeting approves treasurer’s report and rolls over $150,000 CD

Doug Schaffer, chair, called the Millerville regular meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Firehall and led the pledge of allegiance.
Ken Kuhn moved and Mike Bramwell seconded a motion to approve the minutes of Sept. 12, 2024, with adjustments; the motion carried. The body then considered the treasurer’s report. Members approved a procedural change that future treasurer’s reports will include paying bills not yet paid and approving prepaid bills. Doug Schaffer moved to approve the treasurer’s report; Mike Bramwell seconded, and the motion carried.
Included in the approved treasurer’s report was a decision to roll over a $150,000 certificate of deposit for three months at 4.75% interest. The transcript records that the CD rollover was reported as part of the treasurer’s report and approved by the assembled members.
A final motion to adjourn was made by Mike Bramwell and seconded by Doug Schaffer; the meeting adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
