Rose Creek council approves resolution with Clarey Fire and adds two volunteer firefighters

Council Woman Bobbie Greenlee moved to approve the resolution; Council Man Wendel Sprung seconded. A roll-call vote was recorded and the resolution passed unanimously (Conradt, Sprung, Felten, Greenlee and Weis voted yes).
The council separately voted to add two volunteer firefighters to the department roster. Council Woman Greenlee moved to accept Michael Johnson and Kyle Mergen; Council Man Mark Conradt seconded and the motion carried. The minutes state the department now totals 20 members as of Jan. 1, 2022.
The actions were presented as operational steps for the local fire service; council members did not attach conditions to either approval. The council took the votes during routine business and did not schedule further debate on the items.
