Mesabi East board adopts American Indian Parent Advisory Committee resolution; hears two discussion items with no action

The Mesabi East School Board approved an American Indian Parent Advisory Committee resolution at its March 1, 2021 meeting.
Director Kathy Undeland moved and Director Pamela LaFrenier seconded approval of the resolution. A roll-call vote recorded ayes from Directors Amanda Gross, Walt Hautala, Pamela LaFrenier, Kathy Undeland, Chris Baudhuin and Chair Cyndi Worshek; there were no nays and the motion carried.
Separately, the board discussed a Family Service Collaborative Director Agreement and the 2020–2021 Agriculture/Greenhouse Manager position but did not take action on either item during the meeting.
The board accepted a small cafeteria donation and completed routine business before adjourning at 6:14 p.m.
