Resident urges weekend Halloween, asks about sidewalks ahead of Milford Drive work

Mayor Jenn Domzalski and Engineer Daniel Collins previously reported that Milford Drive surveying will begin at the end of the week and continue into Monday and that residents were notified by letter. Collins also reported separately that work at Smith Park — the playground area — has been dug out and new equipment is expected to be delivered and installed soon.
Domzalski additionally announced that the Village received a $7,859 grant from NOPEC that will be applied to the cost of one new generator. Council did not take formal action on the sidewalk question during the meeting; the minutes record the resident's request and the engineering timeline but do not record a staff commitment to a specific funding source.
