Darmstadt Council Approves Minutes, Financial Report and Payables; Launches New Town Website

The council approved minutes, the financial report and accounts payable by 4-0 voice votes and announced a new town website with livestreamed meetings available to the public.
At the Nov. 19 meeting the Darmstadt Town Council approved several routine items and noted steps to increase public access to meetings.
Crystal Kahre made a motion to accept the minutes from last month’s meetings, seconded by Ray Engler; the motion passed by a 4-0 voice vote. Ray Engler moved, with a second from Cecil Poag, to accept last month’s financial report; that motion passed 4-0. Engler again moved and Poag seconded to approve the accounts payable claims; the motion passed by a 4-0 voice vote.
Ray Engler announced the town’s new website has launched and that meetings are now livestreamed and saved online for residents to view. He said additional documents will be uploaded to improve public access to municipal records.
No ordinances or substantive policy votes were recorded during the meeting; the session adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
