Dayton council denies three proposed UZO amendments

The Town of Dayton council moved and approved denials of three proposed amendments to the Unified Zoning Ordinance during the March 18 meeting.
Council considered UZO Amendment 114 first; Rocky Richards moved to deny the amendment and Marc Buhrmester seconded; the roll-call was Rocky-yes, Steve-no, Marc-yes and Carla-yes, resulting in a council vote to deny Amendment 114. Council then considered an omnibus proposal labeled UZO Amendment 115; Rocky Richards moved to deny Amendment 115, Marc seconded and the denial passed unanimously. Council continued with UZO Amendment 116 and voted to deny that amendment as well on a motion from Rocky Richards and second from Marc Buhrmester.
The council’s votes on March 18 represent denials of each of the three proposed zoning changes; the minutes record the council’s formal action but do not include text of the proposed amendments.
