David Miller of R‑Net Solutions briefly addressed the Rose Creek City Council on Feb. 7 to describe his efforts to start the business and to confirm he understands the city's annual rent for the space is $2,400.
Miller said he is working on his financials and needs to coordinate with the city and a neighboring operator to avoid interference on the 11 GHz license. Clerk Kristine Allas agreed to exchange phone numbers and email addresses for Miller and Mitch Grove so the two can coordinate technical or licensing concerns.
No formal lease decision or vote on renting municipal space to R‑Net Solutions was recorded at the meeting; Miller’s remarks were presented for the council’s information.
