Tri-Center Comm School District board certifies election results and approves FY 2025 fiscal report

Tri-Center Comm School District Board President Sara Arnold called the annual meeting to order at 6:25 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2025 and the board moved through routine annual business in a five-minute session.
Business Manager and Board Secretary Jennifer Harder presented the Secretary/Treasurer report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Board member Mike Olsen moved to approve the report; Amanda Scherer seconded and the motion carried, 5-0.
The board certified the recent election results. Katie Ausdemore moved to receive and certify the totals as recorded: Stephanie Witt, 269 votes; Jeremy VanArsdol, 262 votes; and Mike Olsen, 277 votes. Amanda Scherer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, 5-0.
Earlier, the board voted to approve the meeting agenda. Mike Olsen made the motion to adopt the agenda as written, with Katie Ausdemore seconding; that procedural motion also passed, 5-0.
With no further business, Ausdemore moved to adjourn the annual meeting; Olsen seconded. President Arnold declared the meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
Attending officials recorded in the minutes included board members Sara Arnold (president), Amanda Scherer, Jeremy VanArsdol, Katie Ausdemore and Mike Olsen; Superintendent Angela Huseman; Principals Jami Bertelsen and Chad Harder; Curriculum Director Michelle Baatz; Technology Director Matt Schmitz; and Business Manager/Board Secretary Jennifer Harder. Justin Cox and Bryon Berndt of Visual Edge were also listed as present.
The minutes record no further discussion or contested items; motions were procedural and approved unanimously. The board did not record additional directives, votes on policy items, or scheduled follow-up during this brief annual meeting.
