He said Kate McCarthy will meet with a DuBois & King representative and request a hard date for the report. The outreach committee plans Front Porch Forum posts and direct contact with people near the project; a Riverside resident has already contacted Kate expressing interest.
Peter said the task force was advised by a CCRPC contact not to be so neutral in outreach that the public perceives the task force as indifferent; the group is considering clearer public messaging. No decisions on routing or funding were made at the meeting; the next steps are to set a PER delivery date and continue targeted outreach.
