EDA receives update on Dairyland project and annexation discussions with Harmony Township

The EDA received a status update Dec. 3 on the Dairyland development project. Staff said they had discussed the annexation process with Harmony Township and were told the township supports the project and does not object to annexation.
Staff reminded the board that the city had promised current landowners the annexation process would stop if the Dairyland land sale fails. Giesen said other city approvals needed to set up the project are in motion and that a land survey of the site had been completed earlier in the week. No formal annexation action was taken at the meeting.
