Ivanhoe liquor store reports sales gains, files low-potency THC application, plans POS upgrade and VFW operations

At the Oct. 27 meeting ILS Manager Sarah Marczack reported the Ivanhoe Municipal Liquor Store posted September sales of $44,600 and a monthly profit of $6,724. She told the council year-to-date sales through the first three quarters of 2025 were about $425,000, an increase of $37,000 compared with 2024.
Marczack said a low-potency THC application has been submitted to the State of Minnesota’s Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). She also outlined plans to install a new cloud-based point-of-sale system from Ingage on Nov. 12; a trial unit is already at the store for employee training. Marczack said the new system will be accessible online and that training is scheduled for the installation date.
The municipal liquor operation is planning to provide liquor services at a local VFW site: the Ivanhoe Liquor Store will provide the liquor license and run the liquor side at the site, and a POS terminal will be installed there.
Marczack also said she attended the regional Municipal Liquor Meeting and is planning to offer a late-night menu at the store. The council did not take action on these operational items during the meeting; they were reported as departmental updates.
